Rear window sun shade/sun screen/sun blind?

I'm wondering if anyone has come across a sun shade (a/k/a sun screen or sun blind) that pops onto the rear window of a 996 coupe?

Take a look at post #11 in the thread below, which is what I'm looking for. Apparently this was available (or is still available) for Cayman rear windows.

So, with some internet searching, this is what I found:

It seems the large back window is covered by a two separate pieces, so the 4-piece set includes the two rear sides plus the back window. That, of course makes it easier to store when not being used.

That's a great find. If you do purchase it, please let us know how they work. I'm looking for a solution as well for my dog who sits back there. Thanks.

+1, why not just tint the back darker. looks cleaner than a shade. IMO

I was about to order it but the shipping charge was GBP 52, which is just slightly less than the cost of the item itself. So, the total cost would be approx. GBP 110, or over $160, which I thought was too much. I called the company and they said because of the large size of the items, the shipping is kind of high and there's nothing that they can do about this. They also have no US distributor.

I know this is an old thread, but I never came up with a good solution until I came across this:

The price is reasonable. Any thoughts?

Looks like you still have to climb into the back seat to raise and lower. Still looks like tint might be the more convenient solution.

Well, I just measured the width on the inside, and even the narrowest roll-up shade (39") is too wide, so this is not a solution. And you're right, if you wanted to put it up and down, then climbing into the back seat is a pain.
