Another Brit to park next to my Aston

I picked this up last month from my pal Ken Davis who just opened a Triumph Dealership (I was his second customer) in Manassas, VA. This bike is so easy to ride, and so much fun, and so primitive in features that it makes me feel like I'm 19 years old again every time I swing a leg over it. My Super-Luxo-Barge Hi-Tech BMW K1600GTL with every gizmo known to man has been sitting in the garage collecting cobwebs, as my farkled-up Triumph Scrambler is my go-to bike for the summer. If you like bikes, and you haven't tried one - highly recommended. Old School, all the way.

Now I just need that 19 year-old girlfriend and I'll really feel young again (or very, very tired).

Excellent Triumph! Undoubtedly a proper "mate" to your Aston!

I still have fond memories of riding a friends Ducati Diana in SoCal when in high school in the mid-60's. I'm showing my age, but of all the two wheelers I rode, that Ducati was the best

So cool.
I love the vintage style new bikes. All of the simple, clean charm, none of the puddles of oil and petrol.

I'm motorbike free for the moment, but that'll change back to normal one day soon. Thanks for the inspiration.

What a fun errand bike that looks to be. Might have to find a dealer this weekend.

There is one like mine for sale in N.J. for cheap, $ 7,750 with only 1,400 miles on it over at ADV Rider. I think he's under market value on it. You have to be a member to see the ad, but the signup is quick and free. Here's the link to his ad and photos:

BTW, the new Triumphs are dead nuts reliable with flawless electricals....

Very nice bike Duane. I've always had a soft spot for British bikes even though I don't ride.

^^^^ You do realize "DR" are his initials, right? He's not a real doctor (although I hear he plays one on TV).

I'm thinking of going too-far down the Farkle path and make it look like this one....

Custom tank and pipes, Aluminum fenders, old Bates Desert Seat from the 70's that have been re-worked. This one is just so cool...
