Vantage Mirrors - Wind Noise

Hey guys. I've searched to see if anybody else has brought this up, but it doesn't appear so, so I'm assuming it's not that common of an issue.

I was riding around (07 Vantage V8 Coupe) with my windows down, and I noticed quite a bit of wind noise to the point of it causing a whistling noise occasionally from around the passenger mirror area (I didn't notice anything of the sort from the driver side). I picked up a passenger and they noticed it too. She stuck her hand in the open gap between the mirror and the car while riding and it stopped whistling, which makes me think it's not a lose part or anything and could just be normal.

So my question is: Is this normal, or something that simply needs to be tightened or a gap filled in?

Thanks!

I don't see it as an issue with the windows down at all, they're designed to not be noisy with the windows UP ! And I find them nice and quiet then....

I figured as much. However, here in SoCal, 95% of all days are windows down days appreciate the feedback

I've heard of this issue from others but I've never experienced it personally. Then again, I typically have the windows up. Not sure if/how others have dealt with it.
