New Guy

Hey guys, I just purchased a 2006 AMV8V. I am still awaiting shipment of the car, but have been viewing lots of threads on different aspects of the cars. I have a few questions about a few modifications that someone on here I am sure has experience with but couldn't find the answers while searching. I have seen many posts in regard to wheel upgrade and size, however, I cannot seem to find the offsets included with the sizing. I know the car has 19 X 9.5 with a +40 offset in the rear, but what is the widest wheel anyone has fitted without interference issues? I am looking at a few sets and just cannot seem to find the answer. I want to go with a 20 X 10 or 20 X 11, but do not want to damage the fender lip. Also, does anyone make a set of hub centric rings, not spacers, just hub centric rings that go into the back side bore of aftermarket wheels to center it onto the vehicles hub exactly centered so it doesn't wobble. The Aston is a 68.08mm hub center. Thanks!

Hi Art, congrats on the new purchase. Do you still have your Esprit? It seems there are a few Vantage owners with Esprits too.

Sorry I can't help with your wheel question.

Art, welcome and congrats on the purchase. As for your wheel options, I'm currently running an HRE P40SC setup with a 20x11" rear with a +52 offset and a 305/25/20 rear tire. In addition, I am lowered and have more than 5mm clearance between the rear fender lip.

My wheels were build to order, custom specifically for my Aston Martin, require no hub rings, and are a perfect fitment. The high quality and reputation of HRE reflects that you get what you pay for!

Best part, they are still for sale

Gmendoza,
Yes sir, I still have the Esprit! I couldn't resist getting another British Marque! Thanks for the welcome!
00,
Sweet car! Love the wheels! The car looks perfect! What springs are you riding on? The lowered stance is absolutely perfect! I had HRE wheels on an RX7 I had back in the early 2000's and loved the quality. I probably won't spend that kind of money on the wheels, and have used hub centric rings on wheels on my Esprit, 300ZX and Tahoe without any problems with them. Thanks for the input and sharing your wheel specs. I will post up results when I manage to get the car here and have chosen the wheels. Thanks,
Art
