You can also buy via Amazon.com, but the shipping costs make it more expensive than buying direct.

The problem with specialist titles like these is they don't sell in enough volumes for the big publishers to print big stocks cheaply and distribute worldwide. Hence the reason it's not on the shelves in S.A.

You can use the Buy it Now link 2/3rd's of the way down and select the US/ROW option, its £29 including airmail via secure Paypal payment. Quite a few have already gone to South Africa
Thank you, can i not enter my Visa or master card details i do not know or understand paypal? I don't really care about the cost and would want it sent UPS like my Harley parts Or the helicopter parts I simply email a credit card number and **** arrives 4 days from J&P in the states and 2 days from the UK?

Paypal is not a standard payment method here

Thanks Jim, I'm glad you are finding the guide useful and congratulations on your nee Vantage, they are fabulous cars, just be careful with the book, if you spend too much time reading it you end up with a Vanquish on the drive

Hi Captain, Paypal take credit card as well, just click the buy it now link and choose the credit card option. We use Paypal as they are experts at taking payments securely over the web and are a well known brand. Email isn't secure so I would never send your VISA number via email as this leaves you open to fraud. All the Best. Grant

Grant, is there any reason I can't just buy the book for him via PayPal and have you ship it to him instead of me?

Hi Jeff, that is very kind of you and yes of course you could, but you would then be £29 out of pocket which doesn't seem fair on you.

It's a community, right? Not worried about the funds, just trying to help a guy out.

Just bought the latest copy Grant, replacing the one we lost last year when we had a serious house fire -- the Aston and my wife's car in the garage was all that survived, small mercies eh. Your book is among the first few books I have replaced so far, praise indeed!

LOL as long as it's next to the loo and not in it! In the UK it is sometimes called " Sitting on the throne" so I'm one step closer to royalty ....

It's down to personal taste Axa, there is no doubt the V8S offers a nice step up over your 2007 Vantage, both in terms of power, sound, handling, braking and the lovely more direct steering. The V12V is more of a beast, with more hardcore dynamics and the V12 engine is awesome. Personally I would go used V12 over a new V8S, but ultimately YOU need to drive both and see which is best for you, just be sure to take your wallet

Keith & Eva, so sorry to hear about your house fire, that must have been a real frightener, we all joke about the Aston being so beautiful that we should order a bed for the garage, but by the sound of it you nearly ended doing just that, in a very unfunny way! I sincerely hope no one was hurt and all is sorted now with life back to normal. Glad to hear the guide made replacement status, you are clearly a couple with impeccable taste

Thanks very much Grant. The good part is that were away at the time (back in Blighty as a matter of fact), so nobody, and no pets, were hurt. But the road back after such an event is a long one, over a year later and our home is still being rebuilt. We hope to be back in by Christmas, but you know how building schedules are. Then of course there's the small matter of refurnishing the home, top to bottom, oy. So I reckon it will be a good while yet until things are back to normal. But at least now I will have your book to peruse during the rare quiet moments!

Christiaan0922 is infamous around these parts
Thank you for a great book Grant! My copy is looking more and more tattered from all the constant re-reads, and numerous bookmarks constantly being shuffled around. But it is also easily distinguished on my bookshelf by this appearance, as one of my favorite books. Though my DB9 will fortunately be spared this endearing "tattered" look while remaining my favorite car. It will continue to wear the "extremely pristine" look for as long as possible! LOL

Hi Christiaan, good to hear the guide is being put to good use, it is designed to be revisited regularly by the true car enthusiast, the only trouble is it may tempt you into your next Aston.

Glad to know you are looking after your DB9 it is such a beautiful car it deserves the very best quality pampering, while also ensuring you make the fabulous V12 bellow at maximum revs when ever possible
