Performance software and exhaust valve operation modified

I just spent some time in the V8V after the software upgrade using VelocityAP mapping. The overall throttle response and torque improvement alone would make it worth it, but sometimes the stuff that does not make it faster puts a smile on your face. We modified the exhaust flap operation so that the valves are open from idle to about 1750 rpm, then open over 5500 and closed in the mid rpm range. We also were able to make it so that they open from 0 to 10% back pressure, then open again over 70%. The end result is when driving around town and on the highway, the car has a nice tone off the line, but runs quiet otherwise. When you get on it, they open up all the way through the revs. With the low load mapping for open valves, and the 6 speed I have, it has a nice crackle like the new F-Type on overrun and while shifting.

Stuart has the files, It is money well spent and ads greatly to the overall driveing experience of the car.

Thanks for the great review Rich, and glad that we managed to get it tweaked just right for you!
