Ha. Re reading the comment I completely see that side of it. My bad if that was the true intent Frank. I think that must speak to my feeling of Ford...I assumed it had to be an insult!

 

Could be that he making making a reference to Ford's prior ownership of Aston Martin and the many interchangeable parts? I'm a fan of the Blue Oval company myself so I won't sully this thread any futher. I do think that both Ford and Aston were made better because of the relationship. However their product is not comparable, very much a 'apples & oranges' example of target market.

He could also be poking fun at all the other threads on this board recently about parts reuse and Aston's being pure versus rebranding. Strange coincidence to find an old thread and then revive it for a poke or "suggestion". Either way, trolls troll and don't feed them. Let the mods handle it.
