Not very informative but gives you an idea of how much better the S is compared to the standard V12V

Not that I really give a fig for numbers, but are we really to believe this 3.7s 0-60 time? Some manufacturers are known for quoting conservative official performance figures. Others (Aston, take a bow) seem to always have slightly better figures than most of the automotive press can extract from their cars.
But, um, does it even matter?
Yes, per our other thread it matters when doing head to head comparisons. But in terms of driving awesomeness, does it matter? Hell, I'm still mystified as to why anyone pays attention to any acceleration that starts at zero/zed. The more interesting numbers are from rolling. I'd like to see 40 - 80 times. We get such things sometimes but usually, we're left to bicker about how well the tires can grab.
It reminds me of IQ tests. The only thing they predict is that you will do well on IQ tests.

Ibis, I agree. Traction from 0 is partly why 911s post such quick acceleration figures -- rear-engined traction.
