Random quirks
sorry for all the replies..
i got the door lock situated fixed, i changed the "personalized settings" to one click full unlock and the pass door always unlocks now.. i feel the "two click" was not registering as the button might be sticking or the car not sensing them clicked so quickly (battery low on fob i believe).
the AC water on header still bothers me.. when i get under car ill check where the drain is.. and maybe devise some metal bracket that diverts the water from directly on top of header.
overall otherwise the car is great, i'm a little OCD therefore i noticed all these things with an extended drive.. but the car is good.. hand built always has some faults... not that of the car itself but just things that aren't seen because production just isnt vast enough to show all the flaw
now just need a cable that plugs into car and works with iphone5 so i can get pandora!...

The plastic cable stay has a opposed tabs on either side of the tab itself that lock into the metal bracket. Once in place, they cannot fall off. If you can pull yours off, then one or more of the 4 tabs is broken, or you didn't seat it properly in the first place.
i took apart the door and used a mirror to see the latch assembly.. i might try and source a new latch as the pulling force is kinda excessive which leads me to believe something with the latch.. i might remove it from the door (pain)... and check it out or lube it up... all the cables look good.. and i see where the exterior handle wire goes to the latch and where the inside one goes to a lever.....
ill mess with it more in the coming days.. but driver side def has much more resistance...
it might be how the cable is routing in the handle as well.
