Just starting to do some research and figure why not go direct to the brain trust - save some time - are there any exhaust systems available for my model year that don't require modifications from the manifold back ?...

Just looking for a little more volume at lower rpm and some HP and weight loss wouldn't hurt either ...

Did you pull fuse 22? That's a start.

 

Double check -- I think 2013 might be fuse 15.

 

manifolds back:
- Performance catalytic converters (200 cell) would add hp and torque plus volume with a few lbs weight saving
- Mid section pipe will be some weight savings and free up a few more ponies
- Exhaust/muffler will change the sound and volume depending on the one you get. could save 30+ lbs but almost no hp added

He was looking for something similar, a nice improvement in sound without going the whole hog on the headers, and without an over the top volume. He initially went with the 'Sport' exhaust, + secondary cats, but changed it up for the Supersport and said that was perfect.

Get a Quicksilver exhaust made directly for the V8V... HUGE difference. This was my 07 V8V.

 

This is exactly what I did but I also added stuarts high velocity air filters. I had my dealer do the install for me. Before you purchase the rear exhaust, just try the 200 cell cats and the filters as it may be just the perfect balance for you. My aftermarket rear exhaust was great around town but tiresome on the highway. The cats & filters provided a really nice & noticeable bump in acceleration. Good luck... and from personal experience with Stuart, you simply cannot go wrong.
