hey guys

have a cracked windshield on an '05 db9 coupe

been calling around trying to get prices for it and it seems like everyone wants to charge $2600 or so for the windshield and another $900 to install it

is this really the cheapest that i can get a windshield replaced for?

i thought i read a thread about someone getting a windshield for $1600 or so + the $900 install.

is this just inflation or are the dealers im calling trying to make some crazy money on parts?

 

Try calling Safelite. I hear they do a very good job. Dealers don't usually do this kind of work. They hire a specialty service and then tack on their own profit percentage. Also, check with your insurance as in some cases, policies will cover windshield replacement without a deductible.
