Thanks! Ill try the simple stuff first, and then put a meter on two wires on that single connector with the two power wires and see if there is any voltage when the switch or FOB is activated.

how hard is it to get the door panels off? looks like just unbolt the arm rest panel and then does the door panel just pry off?

thanks again!

Mark

took it to a shop to see what the issue was. Glad i didnt buy those door locks, because its not the door lock. However, its the door controller. needs another one..... and, because they are differnet and use differnet programing, they say i need two of them (one for each door) So, my good deal on the car, without really going through it, is not so great anymore, but stilll a really nice car. looks like these two controllers are $550 a piece. (plus labor for install and programming)

shouldnt the old controller be able to be reprogrammed or reflashed? Ive heard this can work to reboot the system and get these funny things working again. maybe pulling the plug on the entire electrical system and then reconnect?

ugggg!

Well, door locks work great. $$$$$$ later.

very nice!

Yeah, mine used to do that now they don't now I think about it....there must be an easy way to switch the auto fold off and on......now where is that handbook LOL

......I also swear that my drivers window used to have "one touch down" but doesn't anymore.....

Thinking about it further these two features may have disappeared when I had one of my door looks replaced last year under warranty........or I could be imagining it?

I don't think your imaging things. Mine fold / unfold on command by depressing the "R" & "L" mirror controllers at the same time. And Yes! one touch window does work ! The 07 DB 9 Manual (pg 3.8 - 3.9 says: Refer to your AM Dealer to configure. It also says they will unfold with placing the key in the ignition- and fold in when the remote transmitter is activated to lock the car ....mine don't work that way. I'm glad they don't.

they say the only way to make the mirrors NOT fold when you lock the car, is to have them programed a the shop not to do so.
Ill have to try the push the two mirror control buttons at the same time and see if that does anything. It would be nice to have the car locked remotely without the mirrors folding back. seems like this should be user selectable, like the lights blinking or not when you lock or unlock the car, which is done from the radio screen user menu.

Yeah, there's got to be an easier way than going back to the dealer to get this done. Where's Irish when you need him?
