Ahh...well, you usually get what you pay for. While no experience with those tires, I went from stock Bridgestone S-03's on my car to Michelin PS3's and the difference was phenomenal in all aspects, from smoothness of the ride to stability to corner hold. Tires are the only thing connecting your car to the road, and make a huge difference. Its the one place I never try to save money.

I have no idea what the Vantage drives like on Falkens Vs. the OEM tires because I'm still on my first set... BUT I can tell you that on My Lotus Elise, the OEM tires were becoming very hard to find and very expensive. I moved over to Falkens and noticed almost zero change in the way the Elise drove and handled... Even on track. But that was a Lotus and only one experience. In the End I loved the Falkens just as much and they actually lasted about 4k miles more.
