Whrer to buy Auto insurance for AM DB9

Hi All,

Its funny when I went from Toyota corolla ans acura MDX to BMW 750Li, my auto insurance at that time "esurance" would not cover BMW. So I bought AAA auto and home insurance. Just to make sure what I am getting in to I called AAA to get quote on adding 2009 DB9 after 10 minute on hold they told me they don't cover Aston Martins.

So can we prepare the list of insurance providers who will cover AM particularly in FL?

Also I tired searchin forum and could not find anything, may be I am not doing it correctly? pointers will be much appreciated.

Thanks.

I have had MetLife auto and home for about 15 years. They didn't blink when I traded my my Volvo for an '07 V8V 6 weeks ago. My premium only went up about $250 a year, which was less than i was expecting.

Chubb seems to be the most popular among the owners I know.

I have USAA and the insurance was just marginally higher than for my Porsche. Just don't tell USAA you go within 10 miles of a racetrack with it.

I have my DB9 insured with AAA in MI. They would not insure me for a DBS, but the 9 was no issue. The insurance agent had to find the car via the VIN though - and when she found it the car was listed as an "Asti Martin" though so you may want to check that out!

I have been thinking about changing companies though as they seem to be bumping the price on me with every renewal, but have stayed with them so far due to the way they handled my recent claim and catered to my every whim when I had a knock in the GT500

I've had Erie for more than 25 years. I'm on their preferred program, because of good driving record. They're a bit selective on who they take, but the rates are great. My Vantage costs me less than $100 more/yr than my S2000 used to

Not sure if they're in Florida though

Was just quoted about $2100 for an 09 DB9 through Hagerty. Paying about $1100 for my DB7. This was through my regular insurance agent who writes State Farm. I may have to shop this a bit.

I'm also on Erie for all of my cars. Best rates around by far and they were great when my wife was in an accident about 10 years ago.

State Farm, in FL, barely more for my '08 V8V than for my '11 GTI.

Yeah, make sure they use the VIN to check.

I have AAA and they added coverage for my '14 DB9 without any hesitation. Took them about a month to find it in the database, though.

The rate is pretty high (somewhere around $3k) but most of that has to do with my age, or so I'm told.

Geico - Multicar policy... Otherwise, Hagerty is not bad at all for exotics with limited yearly mileage.

Plus location

Mines only $525/yr, not primary vehicle. I think I told them about 8k miles per year.

Geico does not have Aston in their list, maybe you could call. I called state farm to get an idea of prices and it was about 100 a month for a 13 Vantage.

Yes they do. It depends which agent you speak with. The second agent I spoke to pulled it up. That's who I'm insured with in Florida.
