Pentosin DOT 4 for DB9?

Hi Am lovers,

I have been looking for brake fluid.
I don't do any track days.

What do you think of pentosin DOT 4 BF
It's made in Germany. Boiling points looks good.
I am going to have stock rotors, carbotech 1521 pads.

Thx

Not sure what is in your system now. I'm not sure I'd mix & match ? DOT4 is typical and what works well for me.

link in OP is for DOT 4 fluid, I am wondering about brand (pentosin, used in german cars like Porsche etc).
I just got 2009 DB9, it has been with various dealers (some times non AM) form about 1.5 years, so I plan to replace as many fluids as I can to start with.

Plus I will be flushing brake fluid

Since you are not tracking the car, you need to consider how often you are going to change the fluid.

So called "super DOT4" fluid like the Pentosian or Motul 600/660, give you higher boiling points. However the tradeoff is that they are generally more hygroscopic (tendency to attract water). Therefore they are designed to be replaced more often, as you'd see in a tracked car. If you are willing to change the fluid yearly, I'd think these would be fine.

However if you want to go 2 years, you might want to get more "standard" DOT 4. Something like Castrol LMA or ATE 200.

Why don't you just fit the original fluid..Castrol React Performance DOT 4..You won't be able to by it at ur local parts store, can be bought at ur Aston parts counter, comes in a box of 12 but sure the dealer sells in units (700781-PK) ..if your shopping on, got it on amazon and ebay

All I need to flush a system is 1 bottle which is exactly 1L
