My car recently went to Aston Martin to programme the wing mirror power function when locking car.

I have even noticed the window drop when I open and close the door operates faster now when before it was a fraction slower.

A day afterwards the Emissions light came on. I tried plugging in my generic OBD sensor which works great on my BMW and the Aston before I gave it in and it fails to connect???

Is the ECU locked with the dealer upgrading the s/w or something?

 

Which OBD sensor did you try to connect to?

 

I mean to say OBD Reader not sensor. I plugged it in securely to the plug under the dash.

 

There's one for body and another for engine. Did you plug in to the correct one?

 

Ahhhh. Plugged it in wrong one. I didnt know there were 2.

I must have programmed 60 or 70 cars by now and sometimes I still plug into the wrong one!
