Music to your ears?

Hey everyone,

Anyone here knows more about the difference between every Aston Martin exhaust sound, which one is the loudest? which one is the best?

I've compared my V8V and Rapide, despite one being a V8 and the other V12 it was still a close competition! The Vantage when accelerating sounds toxic, it is surely amazing when the exhaust opens up. The V12 sounds good every time whether in low or high speeds.

Any input on your favorites exhaust sounds? least favorite? etc.

Thank you!

I had a quicksilver ss exhaust on my V12V. The sound at a cold start was vicious. On the road at high revs, I would put it with any car on the planet.

Favourite = old Vanquish.

DBS, V12V both sound great; DB9 sounds a bit more restrained to my ears. Haven't heard a new V12VS, new Vanquish or Rapide in person.

4.3 V8 also sounds brutish. Least favourite for me is 4.7 V8 - quieter and not as rude as the 4.3 at full throttle, and unpleasant mechanical thrash from the engine bay at lower revs.

I didn't know that the 4.3 sounds better than the 4.7, maybe cause I've never heard a 4.3 yet!

You shouldn't need to wind the windows down, get the roof down instead!

The old school Vanquish sounds is pure sexy!! It's a weird type of muffled sound..not a car/truck out there with the same sound..

Next to that would be a DBS I made a set of secondary cat deletes for, deleted the rear catalysts with a mig'd up pipe I made, was realy nice!!

The new Vanquish and V12VS have a new smaller rear muffler on bypass valves, that sound is awesome as well!!
