Ultima Waterless Wash + MicroMadness

Since I live in a condo in downtown Toronto I do not have access to a washing stations and I am unhappy with the auto detailers in my area that charge 50 for an exterior wash and use poor quality towels to dry the vehicle.

After extensive research into finding options for the best solution in my situation I landed on Ultimate Waterless Wash. A detailed review can be found here. http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/product-reviews/29647-review-ultima-waterless-wash-plus.html

I wont go into the very details but just wanted to give you a high level overview on my thoughts.

Price: The bottle has a concentrated solution that can make 32 bottles worth (1 was = 1 bottle). `62.5 cents a wash

Situation: I like keeping the aston in amazing condition, however, in my condo parking its hard to keep the dust away and generally gets dirty after a drive.

Method: Extremely simple and peaceful for me to do. Its simply spray and wipe. Using a good microfiber towel is important. I purchased Microfiber Madness.

Pros: Cheap to use, easy, relaxing and effective. Works all all componenets.

Con: Every wash reveals new damage to the car. I just noticed some scratches on the front grill probably from rocks. This is the most annoying thing. When I do it myself I tend to notice more and more damage

Yep, washing/detailing the car yourself will definitely give you the intimate day by day stone chip count.......but isn't it wonderful feeling those hips in your hands

Are you absolutely sure that the waterless cleaning isn't scratching the paint ?
Personally, I have found Aston paint to be very easily marked when cleaning / polishing.

I am going to get the aston polished and opti-coated.

Regarding the scratching, im using a very high quality microfiber and trusting the opinion from a professional on the autopia forums.
