Vantage Clutch 4.3 vs 4.7

Whats the actual difference between both the clutches ???

The clutch is an extra £500 and I want to know why.

I was told that a 4.7 clutch cannot fit in the 4.3? by my local agent, saying the 4.7 feels lighter on the pedal but not compatible? we need irish to chirp here

I agree ! I have an engineer on our payroll who does lots of work (he built the GT40 pace car for Le Mans 2007) for me and he seems to think they are very compatible... lets hear from the boys who know irish and Stuart?

PS Aston Martin Cape Town told me this got it from Jason Longtoft himself! the finest AM mechanic in Africa, not sure I could have got it from a better source?

Here's a couple of pictures of the Clutch from my '08 Vantage V8. Maybe the new design has a better way to hold the center disk to the clutch disk. Mine had just 9,000 miles on it, was determined to be a mechanical failure and covered under warrantee.
