Anyone get a new recall letter?

Yeah, whatever.
This has been going on since June 2013 (first recall), with second recall in Feb. 2014. No notification sent to me at any point. Just about to get a service and asked the service manager specifically about this because it is all over the internet and oh yeah, I need the recall.

Ok. Just got word this is not a new recall. They sent the letters again to make sure everyone was aware of the recall. Disregard if you had the recall performed this year. Check with your dealer if you are unsure of your cars status.
BTY there is an update now for the TPMS and fuel doors. Check to see if your car is affected.

Got my third accelerator recall letter also about a month back. This one has a different recall number on it (last one was the same as the first with a "V2" added at the end). The dealer in Houston is using their allocation of pedals on their showroom cars first so I'm having to wait a while apparently. Doesn't make a helluva lot of sense having the cars that are actually on the road wait to get fixed but there you go I guess...

That seems rather bass ackwards. in fact, I wonder if that's even legal considering that, I believe , the recall had a quarantine notice.

Pedal death
While at my dealer last week the mechanic was finishing the pedal replacement campaign on two Vantages. Job done he put each on the cement floor, face down, and showing no mercy, hit them a mighty blow with a good sized hammer. SOP, he said.

Probably a good move on AM's part. Don't want any finding their way onto Ebay.
