Aston costs in other countries...

Yikes! Take a look at this 2009 AM DBS in South Africa...

Their currency is the "RAND", symbol is an "R" and "ZAR".
One RAND is .94 of a US Dollar (so just 6 cents away form being equal.

This car has approx the same number of miles and is comparably equipped to my DBS. Look at the price...

Some countries have extremely high taxes/tariffs/etc on vehicles. It's done for a number of reasons: luxury tax, protecting domestic industry (extra high tariffs on imported vehicles), discouraging automotive use (look at the cost of a car in Singapore), etc.

Oops- appears that I screwed the decimal place up...the RAND is .094, not .94

My bad.
