Humm, give me some detail about the difference in switching over to the Pilot Super Sports. I am on my second set Bridgestone tires since I have owned the AMV8. They have been "ok"... But I find they don't do so well in any moisture.

I had the PSS on my STi and they were awesome, even in the rain. I have Hankook Ventus V12 Evos on now and they're good on dry pavement, meh on wet. I'll be switching to PSS when the Hankooks burn off.

PSS vs OEM Bridgestones? Better in virtually every way, no contest. To quote you, an "OK" tire versus probably the best performance street tire currently on the market.

Go with a good local shop if you can. Dealers have lots of ways to make $$$, a tire shop has but one. My local tire shop has a top-of-the-line dynamic balance machine (that also checks tire run-out) --and they take the time to hide the weights behind the spokes if possible.
