Removing Emissions Light with High Flow Cats
I have some Magnaflow High Flow Cats 200 cell and the light keeps coming on after 2 / 3 starts.
I have read that it can take up to 8/9 starts for the ECU to stop detecting this but I have tried that a few times and still the check light comes on.
I read somewhere there was a mini bung that interfaces between the o2 sensor and the cat and has a mini catalyst mesh to fool the sensor. I cant remember the name and google doesnt come up with anything.
Does anyone know what this is called? Or have any other ideas. i.e. a resistor in the wiring perhaps?

Already have the extension bungs on the O2 sensors so that the sensor is more removed from the gases.
Think I might have found the solution here (although I would prefer some metal substrate):

Going to do the full writeup on cats today, these have fully build in cat defowlers. Check with the MD802 to see how far the cats are from the threshold and they are not even close... Will explain in the writeup.

Posted review, read the "Cat stats" section and you will see what the Catalytic Test threshold is vs. actual reading with the built in defoulers for a 200 cell high flow cat. you can buy a set of screw in types for your cats but the fitment may be an issue as space is pretty tight down there.
