I'm guessing announcement of the next Vantage.

 

yeah, it'd have to be something like that, since they very soon won't be able to sell the vantage in the US anymore.............

 

Nah. There are still a couple more years left on the current Vantage design. They wouldn't announce a new Vantage yet because the Mercedes GT hasn't come out yet and because the new Vantage GT that I ordered is a 2015MY.

I believe the game plan is that the DB9 will receive some updates for 2015MY and then redesigned completely to be compliant with the new regulations in about 1.5 years as a 2017MY. The AMG powered Vantage will follow a year later as a 2018MY.

 

I've always thought the new Vantage would come out in 2016 but what you said makes sense!

2017 - Vantage refresh

 

Apparently, some people have let the cat out of the bag prematurely, but I'll continue to honor the embargo and let the automotive press release the news as they see fit.
