Something Wicked This Way Comes!
I wouldn't mind one!
It's great to see it's coming to the USA but all the hype made me think it was something big like a new car announcement. I expected the Roadster to come out. I mean, why wouldn't it? There is no extra development needed. The only surprise is it's available in the States.
Which leads to the question is anyone planning on ordering one?
I would if it had a manual.

This topic has been beaten to death and I think only 1 person we know of on this forum purchase, plastique.
What a Huge letdown... How is that "huge news"... I was expecting some real actual news.
With that said, it looks like they are taking advantage of that 1 year extension to sell convertibles in the USA before the door officially shuts down for all Vantages August 31st 2015.
FYI, the two official press car V12 Vantage S that were in all the magazines are now officially for sale. Both are at Lamborghini Houston and they are asking $185k each instead of the MSRP price. One is the sun fire yellow coupe seen, the other is the metallic dark red seen above.

^^^^ I told you that "big" news was a bit of an overstatement.
That being said, there are still some other announcements to be made, but you'll probably say big deal to those as well.
Also, my dealer has another one of the press car V12VS in Yellow Tang (don't know what "sun fire" yellow is). Don't let anyone fool you into thinking Houston has the two press cars. I was at the press event last year and got to drive a V12VS on track for a few hours. There were about 10 "press car" V12VS there as well as a bunch of Vanquish Volantes, DB9, Rapide S, etc.

Well it hasn't been beaten to death for the roadster now has it?

Just going by what they told me... $30k+ off is not a bad deal I suppose, although I still wouldn't get one.
