The New Aston Martin V12 Vantage Roadster Really Rocks!

Who doesn't love convertible Aston Martins? They are the pinnacle of cool. They ooze sex, money and usually old money or investment bankers.

But what happens when you take Aston’s baby car, the Vantage, drop a massive V12 that’s good for 565 horsepower and over 200 mph, and then chop the top? You get this. A glorious assault on one’s senses.

I for one think this totally rocks. I would trade up if money was no object. More power and improved transmission, same open top fun. Only potential downside is the V12 S looks much more aggressive, loses a bit of that understated elegance.

I think there will be a market for this car. The need for a MT is less for a volante than a hardtop, IMHO.

Yes your dealer can now take orders. They don't have the full price details yet though. It will carry the normal bump from coupe to convertible. Base sticker will be around $190.
