that looks great. So is that semi-gloss or gloss that you powdercoated with.

Well, $125 later and black powdercoat with a clear looks awesome! The slats all come out easily with a little prodding. I cleaned off the dust carefully and reinstalled the grill slats. Here is the final product. I have 5 cars in the driveway now so I didn't have time to jockey all the cars around outside to make room to get a picture from a distance but will shortly. It was getting dark quickly.
Thanks guys! I am glad you all like it. I too was worried that the blacked out grill would hide the opening and iconic shape of the nose, but this looks excellent! I am more than pleased and would recommend gloss black powdercoat with a clear over it. It looks nice and professional and will wear well. I will drive the car tomorrow and get some pics from the front at a distance and hopefully manage some better pics with my phone!
