Miller Motorcars Service Dept...Wow!
Miller Motorcars Service Dept...Wow!
Visited their service dept for the first time and had a tour. It is easily the largest/best service dept I've ever been in.
They probably have 40 lifts or so (all occupied), and you could eat off the floors. Plus the array of cars in for service was staggering. Maybe 10 Astons, a few Bentleys, several Ferraris and McLarens, a passel of Masers, and the piece(s) de resistance, a Veyron and for me, a Huayra.
The Huayra was incredible close up. Interior filled with metal bits like fine jewelry, and a CF exterior accented with a beautiful maroon paint on portions of the center panels and rear haunches (and mirror tops too). The thing was a piece of rolling art. At least I can say I saw one in my life, and up close to boot!
Any way, while Miller is certainly not the least expensive place you can have your car serviced, looking at the facility and the people that run it and work on the cars gives you a good feeling that your pride and joy will be well taken care of.
Anybody who gets the chance should visit.

I saw a Veyron at a local Cars & Coffee and it was cool to see but I wasn't really blown away by it. Yeah, it's cool to see it because of what it is, but that's about it. A Huayra, on the other hand, is jaw-dropping. I saw one up close at the Royal Automobile Club in London last year and it was by far the most impressive piece of automotive art I've ever seen. Like you said... amazing!

My experience with Miller Motor Cars service has been superb... They took good care of my 2007 Vantage and my new Vantage S's first service. I was put off by the owner though... perhaps thats what I went to Washington DC for my S. For us Jersey guys there is a new option for service as a new Aston Martin dealership is opening in Summit.

Not sure that says anything bad about the dealership, certainly poor judgement on the mechanics part tho.

Don't shoot the messenger people! I left no opinion for a reason
. Just letting you know 2 mechanics that work at Miller Motorcars spun out on a highway and totaled a 2+ million dollar Enzo 4 weeks ago. Draw from it what you want.
