If you decide that this is the one, despite any negatives you discover, then good for you. There is a car for everyone and this could be the car for you. I'd want to own it in the $40's for sure, but it's nearly priced there now. Offer $45k, see what happens. I own an '06 with 41k miles and it's been fantastic. I have no issues with it at all. Newer Vantages are better in many categories than mine. It still doesn't make me love mine less.

The '07 in Jet Black/Sandstorm looks great. That is a beautiful color combination and the equipment list is right on the money.

I just bought an 2007 Vantage last week. My only question is it such a fun car with a stick shift why not go with that. My car has most of these options and only 2900 miles. I am up in Monterey right now for the big car festival and this car on the way up was just awesome.

Thanks for all the replies guys! I'm very happy to say that I ended up buying the 2006 Vantage in Dallas. Know it might not have all the desired options, but I got it for a really good price.

I've attached a couple pictures of them loading it on to the auto carrier today. Should have it by mid-week!

Had it checked out by an Aston-approved mechanic in Dallas, and the only thing he found were that all four struts are leaking oil. He recommended replacing them soon and estimated about $4.5K for the parts, $1K for the labor. Anyone have a similar experience with leaking struts? Necessary to replace? Any alternative, cheaper parts I could use?

Excited to join your elite AM owners club...

By the way, the only things I plan to do to it:

1) Replace the interior and license plate lights with LEDs
2) Replace the antenna with the Mini Cooper one.
3) Paint the alloy facia dash panel piano black (like Karl did, I believe)
4) Pull fuse 22
5) Add bluetooth, AUX, or USB

Any other suggestions?

That's a beautiful car and love the anthracite wheels. As an fyi, AM do make anthracite wheel center caps should you decide to change that.

I think Stuart at Velocity AP on this forum
http://www.velocityap.com/

Can offer suspension alternatives.

Looks beautiful. Congrats.

P.S. I thought of offering to sell you my piano black fascia, but I see your car is a Sportshift so it won't work.

Wow what a beayty! I love the color and the wheels. Looks like you bought an 06, so that would be stick? If so good job, you will have a blast. I just did the I pod upgrade here in LA. I already have the Blue tooth option on the car. The I pod works well. I have the pluge under the ash try lid (we just removed the glass ash try it's self) There is also a small switch that will allow my I phone to play music through the head unit. I still have to control the music through my I phone. It does charge my I phone as well. I also just lay my I phone on the center console paralle behihind the ashtray, on the rear defrost button..

Hi Ron -

Did you do this yourself and had it done at the shop? If it was a DIY, would you mind sharing how tough the job was and the cost? Thanks.

Hi it was a shop that did the work called Galpin auto sports, they are part of the big dealer group I bought the car from and they specialize in wheels tires interiors stereos. They installed it it's a fiber-optic module that works within the system in the Aston Martin. I believe the actual components were about $6-$800. It took them about three hours to install it. If you call them and ask for Sean they can probably tell you exactly what it is they did and where you can find it. This is the # (818) 922-3800. Your car is a stick?

Hey Ron -

Thanks for getting back with me. I will give them a call and see what they say. Yes - my car is stick.
