Squeaky noise Rear Right low speed

I was wondering if anyone have had this issue (MY06V8). I'm hearing a squeaky noise coming from the right rear side of the car at low speed (which makes the car sound like a crappy old car falling apart )and its only when the car is moving. Its been around for months but now it seems to have become louder and its driving me nuts.

It sounds more like body part squeaky but I could be wrong.

Any idea on where or what to look for that's making this noise.

Thanks.

similar noises have been described and is sometimes the pads on the handbrake dragging on the disc slightly. I'm sure Karl or someone else might have other thoughts as well.

The little mouse squeak at low speeds (usually while turning left) is almost always due to the handbrake pads as Chris mentioned.

I had this problem...replaced my handbrake pads (which were worn *completely* down to the pad plate) and the sound went away. Something about the right rear side for the handbrake...

I list the part number for Jaguar ebrake pads that are the exact replacement part the AM handbrake pads. Should fit your 06 but check to be sure. From Jag they are about $120; from AM they are about $500 or so.

If you don't need pads then you probably just need the cable tension adjusted.

Thanks guys I'll check the pads for wear this weekend.
What's the jag part#?
How hard is it to adjust the ebrake if needed? Or should I have a AM tech do it?

From Rodney's earlier thread on the brakes:

" So, if you need handbrake pads for a DB9 or a DBS, the Jag part C2C13800 is an exact fitment."
