Black toolbar located between posts and sixspeed banner,

Left you'll see "User CP" next to it photos, FAQ, etc.

Thanks. I'm on the phone app. Doesn't look like all features are on here.

Awesome, thanks. I saw that too, so looks like I'll be adding some people to my ignore list

Which also kind of stinks as now I won't be able to see posts from the people I "ignore" even if they're in the classifieds section.

Well, I'm disappointed to report that the ignore list doesn't work the way I would've hoped. It doesn't remove the threads from your thread list if they were started by someone on your ignore list. All it does is replace the individual messages from that member with something similar to this:

"This message is hidden because need4speedmotors is on your ignore list."

Consequently, your thread list is still polluted by ads from those members.

I received the same notice...but I'm hoping it was because the threads were not read previously to the time I added them to my ignore list.
Time will tell...

Another data point: As you note, posts made by someone on your Ignore list still appear in the list but the text is not shown. Additionally, if an Ignored person posts in a thread, although the content of their post is not shown, it WILL still appear in a Quoted post.

Example: Member A is on your ignore list, and Member A posts a response in a thread. Member A's post appears but the content does not. Member B now quotes Member A's post in their response - you'll still see Member A's content in the quote, it is not blocked.

Yeah but can't you see from the thread list posts you want to ignore or read? I just look down the post listing and ignore threads that don't interest me.

I click through all the threads just in case, but it's pretty easy to see which ones are ads based on the thread title and OP if you're looking to skip over them.
