Converted from carbon ceramic to steel rotors. No more squeaking!!!!

After spending months and countless attempts to get rid of the my brake squeak on my 2009 DBS I ended up looking in to converting my carbon ceramic set up to a steel rotor one. Ferrari, Porsche and zr1 vette guys commonly do this conversion. I know there are lots of owners running carbon ceramics with zero issues but unfortunately I wasn't one of them. I cruz my car around town and it was so embarrassing as the brake noise was ridicules.

Racingbrake.com supplied the conversion kit which included new rotor w/hat assembly and new set of pads. Check out their website as they have years of racing experience and their parts are top notch.

Car is quite, stops great and quite )))

Hope this helps some of you guys.

Now what to do with my stock carbon parts????? Should I keep or sell them?

You'd better keep the parts if you don't want to get killed when selling. A DBS without CCM discs is a $30k hit waiting to happen, so keep the parts so you can swap them out if you decide to unload the DBS.

RacingBrake is infamous around these parts
Bump for RacingBrake brake pad ET500 or XT910 compound that cured the annoyed squeaking w/o using any coating agent, shims or any media.
