V8VS or DBS?

I've been lurking in the Aston Martin section for about a year. The itch to own one of these fine automobiles has now become an obsession. Having watched the market for about a year my budget will allow a V8VS but part of me gets drawn to the beautiful lines of the DBS. There are a few that are close to my budget. Having not driven the DBS I would appreciate any feedback or opinions.

V12V is infamous around these parts
You need to drive both. They are very different cars. Big GT vs. small sports car. Let us know how it goes.

^^

Pretty much sums up what i was going to say, they are totally different but you can't go wrong with any. Its what you want, a sporty aggressive car or a more comfortable sophisticated car.

Also depends how you feel re: V8 vs. V12. For some, a V12 is more desirable as something truly exotic. IMO, everyone should own a V12 at least once in his life.

Thanks for the input everyone. A V12 is truly exotic but coming from a very modified 996 turbo I think the V8VS might be the be the more logical step into a more refined car that is still fun to push when the urge hits.
