I was driving my 06 v8v yesterday on the freeway. I was in 6th gear at 70mph, when traffic cleared and I pushed the gas pedal to speed up. The RPMs moved master than the car felt like it should and immediately gave me sensation that the clutch was slipping.

Reading others comments it sounds like this is a typical early warning sign. Now I need to buy parts and the question of oem vs aftermarket. This thread is a great start but for those folks who went aftermarket please chime in and tell me what you bought, what is required,cost and your satisfaction level after the fix...

agreed! lets hear from the Vantage owners who have upgraded, just to repost the issue i had no slipping issue, it just drooped a spring when standing still and would not afford the slave to disengage the clutch forcing me to part with a small fortune to have it sorted
