My show cars a 67 , 64 in progress and a 62 Tri carb with original factory hard top waiting in the wings for restoration .
The 57 is a beaut

I suggest you get a set of Race Ramps RR-RAK-5 (off amzn) to replace those 40lb each steel ramp that will break yr toe one day. The RR are dense foam and weigh 10lbs - was the best add-on I got for my Benq lift. Also I got a full set of plastic drip trays so my '69 280SL does not drip on my DB9

I've got a set of Race Ramps, too. Very, very lightweight and work great. You'll get a tiny, tiny bit of compression (it is foam, after all) but it doesn't affect them or their functionality whatsoever - and well worth the weight savings, plus you don't have to worry about damaging anything with them if you accidentally hit something while moving them.

Yea you're right. I wish I would have opted for the aluminum ramps the manufacturer offers. I did get the drip trays too though as well as the trolly jack. The jack has been very useful.
