Anyone else going to Texas Bull Run @ COTA?

Hey Guys,

I am going to the Texas Bull Run event at Circuit of the Americas in Austin on February 20-22nd. Its an full weekend long exotic car track event & hill country drive and they said they are going to reserve a few more spots for Aston Martins.

I went to the event last year and had an absolute blast, just thought I would share the info in case anyone has never had a chance to really enjoy their Aston martin on track (with a professional instructor of course).

If anyone is interested to come: www.TexasBullRun.com

Lets get a good group of Astons out there!

Wow that's very tempting. Very tempting.

What car do you plan to take out there?

Taking the vantage. I want to see what the tune can do on track ... That is unless I have an even fancier toy by then

Just got an email from the local aston Martin chapter, it appears the entire Aston club is now invited out to the event. Should be a great turnout. I am excited to see what Astons show up.

Anybody else thinking about joining in?

We have 140 cars running at COTA this weekend. Cost is $595 for the day. I think it is sold out but anyone can come watch if interested.

I don't like tracking my cars at those budget track days bc the track is waaaay too packed. At this event there will only be 15 cars on track at a time basically giving most of the track to yourself. Plus you get gourmet full buffet for lunch and all the VIP hospitality stuff for the entire full weekend. I find hose types of events more enjoyable, even if they cost a bit more.

They said it is open to all exotics (Lambos, porshce GT3/turbo, Ferrari, mclaren, aston, etc)

Awesome, Thank you. I typically go to Motor Sport Ranch and since I'm in the fastest run group w/ PCA, there are only 8 or so cars in my group, so luckily it's never crowded.

I checked and the event is sold out. We have enough classes to run no more than 25 cars at a time. That's not crowded at COTA. Lunch and dinner are included as well. Only interested in track time not car shows. This event was open to all brands. We even have a few ex Indy cars in the top race class. Should be fun.

There were about 35-40 cars at a time today, it was extremely packed. It was a fun day though

I really want to get involved in this, but yeah think it might be sold out.

I actually don't think it's too bad of a deal - COTA is expensive.

If you are referring to the Bull Run event it's not sold out, I checked yesterday. They have roughly 10 spots left so if you are interested just shoot them an email, I am sure they can help out with the registration process

Thanks for the clarifications! - I'm all paid up and registered for Tx Bull Run at COTA now!

Taking the V12V CB... would be great to run with other AM owners.

Looks like an awesome weekend.
