Winter tire suggestions

Driving car as dd now and PSS are great in warmer weather, but need tires for a cold climate and rain but DO NOT plan on driving in the snow ever. Any suggestions? I have an extra set of wheels.

Funny you should post this. I was on the BMW M3 boards talking about how I use my M3 as my winter DD and a bunch of those guys were freaking out because they garage queen their M3 over the winter and have some sort of winter beater. As I was reading it I was thinking that over here there were certainly guys who drive their Astons/Ferraris/etc in the winter.

Anyway, I have Blizzak LM60s on the M3 and they work pretty well. They feel squishy and take some getting used to but do great in the cold and snow. If you aren't going to drive in any snow though you might be able to get by with all seasons for a more predictable cold/wet drive.

They're not to bad in the winter for a RWD car..

Look in your owners manual, Aston has recommendations for winter tires and sizes. If you have 19's, it's 235/40/19 96W and 275/35/19 100W both from Pirelli Sotto Zero..it's what we install, any other makes/brands and you will have to mix/match the sizes. Most brands have the summer sizes but both both winter sizes..

+1 for the Blizzak M60s. That's what I have for winter tires on my Vantage.
