Thoughts on this V8 Vantage convertible

I can't link directly to the car but it's the only AM on their site.

Grey, 36k miles on a 2008 convertible with sports shift. Looks like most or all maintenance performed at AM dealers but I have not found out yet if the clutch has been replaced and if so how long ago. Price seems decent, color combo that I like and the entire car is covered in clear bra.
Should I worry about the miles?
Price seem fair? Guy said he could probably go to $63k and some change(no sales tax in oregon)

Love the color and the red stitching. Seems it has some stretching on the dash leather. Beautiful piano black waterfall. The leather on the binnacle is due as well.

Take into account this is an 08 and as such, it has the 4.3l engine, less HP and torque, and older center console. I'd advise an 09 or newer.

Price seems ok, I've seen cheaper around. Would never buy this car without a new clutch, since it's probably about to go out. Mine went with 26k miles, for a Sportshift.

That's one of the last 4.3's, a few month later they launched the 4.7
You need to drive both (I suspect you might want to stretch to a 4.7 )
I'd want to build in a clutch change on an ASM1 car with that mileage
Half open the roof and check the back of the cover for wear from the frame hinge points
The leather on the binnacle does look like it needs sorting out but that is easy enough
They've got the colour wrong that's probably Tungsten or Meteorite silver

A year and a half ago I bought an 09 with 30,000 miles on it for the same price with the factory warranty you're better off finding an 09 or newer or a cheaper vantage

Thanks for the info I will be passing on the car. I thought 09s were out of my budget since I want a convertible but it sounds like if I look I can find them.
However I want a west coast car, I do not want to purchase from afar and I live in Portland Oregon.
List
Grey type of color
Convertible
Less than 40k miles
$65k or less
Sport shift or manual, no preference if sport shift has newer clutch.
Within 1,000 miles of Portland Oregon.

Check out the light green 09 vantage at Newport Beach Aston Martin. It looks like a pretty decent deal

$65k is tops of what I want to spend, I really want a Lambo and the more I spend on this the less I have for the lambo.
Newport Beach also has a terrible website. I browse on my iPad and you can't see anything but a photo of the car, no miles options, tranny type etc.
