09 Vantage convertible NEON BLUE
09 Vantage convertible NEON BLUE
good morning....looking for some background on a car I am seriously considering (link to the car below) and am wondering if anyone knows the history on this car. It is an 09 Aston Martin Vantage convertible in Casino Royale with what the BMW dealer in Nevada is claiming to have 4300 miles. Apparently this car was wrapped in neon blue prior to the dealer removing it so that should refresh some memories....is there anyone on this forum familiar with the car? I just am skeptical of the mileage because the carfax doesn't even show any mileage documented on the car until late 2011. maybe its legit and was just a show car? that's why I am looking for some help with on this forum...does anyone know the history?

Does it have quicksilver exhaust? A buddy here in Dallas had this exact spec with a quicksilver exhaust and wrapped blue for a while. He bought a Ferrari a while back, used the Aston as trade I guess.
I actually looked at this exact vehicle 8 months ago and it seems like it hasn't moved much. At the time, they were not wiling to move on the price as much as I wanted and they were selling it at 77K.
I never saw the car in person, but from what I remember, they told me it was bought by a local guy who they sell cars to frequently. They said he bought it, wrapped it, kept it for about 6 weeks and then sold it back. It still had the wrap and also had aftermarket wheels at the time.
They were willing to put the stock wheels back on and remove the wrap, but only after I committed to buying. For me, not being able to see the condition of the paint with the wrap on, and the fact that the price was only minimally negotiable, I passed. They did have service records for the car though as I recall.
I can tell you that at under 70K I probably would have purchased (after a thorough PPI of course), but given that it has been sitting for so long at the point is a bit worrying IMHO.
