Trade In Value for a 2012 V8 Vantage 6M coupe?
Thinking of making a change in the line-up and wondering where I can find valuation on a 2012 couple 6-speed manual w/ sports pack and 4800 miles. I've tried looking in all of the usual places (Edmunds, KBB, etc.), but they say there's not enough data and prices are unavailable. I'll probably be trading in at a dealer if that matters. Can anyone help?
Thanks in advance,
brumma

Trading a car in is rarely appealing. You will typically not be pleased with the trade in numbers. That said offers can usually have a range of 10k. I believe retail values for a 2012 Vantage right now are between 90-100k (but most should sell between 85-90k). I am currently looking at a 2012 Vantage S and was told trade in offer for it was 80k (car has 6k miles).
My advice is simply to email/call dealerships and ask they should be able/willing to give you a range. I have done it plenty with my car (sometimes they have a car I am interested in and other times they offer to see what they can find in hopes that we can make a deal). If you have the time selling privately will be a much better route to go. Good luck!

What will you be trading it for? Bring it to a dealer and deal.... between over allowing on your trade and discounting the car you want there may be a way to pull it off. Additionally, if your state has sales tax, you'll save on that as you only pay sales tax on the net difference.
