I found this place which made me a replica of my licence plate and all I had to do was stick it. Any thought on it?
This is their site http://customlicenseplates.us
Here's a license plate holder I put together myself. The front bar is a piece of titanium which I had engraved. It could also be made of carbon fiber or stainless steel. At the back is a threaded adapter which screws into the bracket behind the grille. The only drilling required is the 2 holes on the bar and corresponding holes in the license plate. The license plate can be installed above or below the bar. It takes about 60 seconds to install or remove. The parts necessary are easy to get online. PM me for a list of the parts required and the online source to order from which to get them.
OH NO! Old post or not there are plenty of ways to get a plate to show on the front without drilling /defacing the bumper. It hurts just thinking about it!
Why not just buy the plate adapter that goes in the tow hook hole...I did and the plate with one twist comes off as one unit whenever you want...plus it does not block air flow as any center plate does.
I like the self stick plate but it screams of a ticket in NJ not being the correct issued plate
Oh, yeah, Porkchopious. Astons draw all kinds of attention in these parts, particularly from the Gendarmes who might be a tad low on their ticket quotas, so let's drive around without the mandatory (in Ontario ) front plate. It took me two whole days after I bought my car (it came from a province that doesn't require front plates, hence; no bracket) to get pulled over and lectured about what would happen if I got caught again, etc., etc. You might get away without a plate on an F-150, or some such, but not
on cop bait like an AM.
here in puritanical taxachusetts your supposed to have a front plate and cannot get an inspection sticker without it . a friend of mine carried his in his trunk with a piece of the mounting bracket still on it he never got pulled over once ( but if he did the idea was to show the cop someone backed into it and he was waiting for new bracket)and when it came time for inspection he tied it to the grille with some zip ties and as soon as he got home back in the trunk it went ! pain in the butt , but it worked

I live in MA as well and haven't been pulled over for missing front plate in 20yrs. For the past 3yrs however I have been running euro-style front plate made up with my MA #. I zip tie the real plate to my grill once a year for inspection as well and then back into the trunk it goes. That said, I HAVE received 2 parking tickets in Boston (pre-euro plate) for not having it, even at meters that were paid up.
Tow hook braket worked for me. Kept it ready in the trunk. Plan was to show it to the cop and explain I just hadn't remounted it since a track day. Even had an extra wrench with it incase he wanted me to mount it - or else!

I have used CravenSpeed in the past, but we were unable to find a match for a 19+ Vantage (they sent me 3 different posts to try)
Great customer support and I have used them for my Porsches: https://www.cravenspeed.com/login.php
