I'm a new DBS owner, and I used this site heavily when researching my purchase, so thank you to the "community" out there.

The car came with the iPod integration unit, and I noticed that when I use this input, the sound is very tinny and the vocals of songs are especially low. I performed the following steps while troubleshooting:

(1) tested various devices - older iPod, iPhone 3G, iPhone 5. All have the same problem (i.e., tinny sound, weak vocals).
(2) played around with iPod equalizer settings (on devices and on car) - still not right
(3) tested these devices with the AUX input - the devices sound right through this input
(4) tested other sources - radio, CD - all sound fine

My guess is there's something wrong with the iPod integration unit. Has anyone else run into this issue?
