Aston/Ford did a very good job with the DB9 and Vantage and some of the cars for sale prove that. I have seen a few on eBay that have over 100k miles. Pretty impressive! Unfortunately, these cars were made in such small numbers that when someone has a major problem everyone thinks their car will be affected, not taking into account how the car that failed was treated. I agree these cars are getting to be 10 years old and sometimes these things will happen. I have owned my DB9 for 3 years now and its been one of the most reliable cars I have owned. Enjoy your car and be glad you possess the skills to fix it yourself. These cars are a joy to work on!
