DB9 Nav Sytem inop
I've searched as many posts as possible but was unable to find anything similar to my nav issue on my 06 DB9. The previous owner spent a small fortune letting an independent shop dig into this.
His complaint was the standard gear issue plus the nav screen remained blank. They tried everything in their power, starting by replacing the gears. Then they dug into the power supply to the screen. Supposedly the screen door motor worked after the repair but nothing else.
Now...
I can't even get the nav door to open. No motor noise etc.
I'll never use the system but I like everything to work on my cars. Any suggestions as to what the issue could be? If the system is fried, I understand most of the components are Volvo parts. I know the dealer wont help me by using a Volvo part, so I may be forced to start replacing components till it works. Any ideas on where I should start?
Is there a simple reboot that only the dealer can accomplish?
Thanks
