Fabspeed Motorsport | It is time to wake up the Vantage V8
The Sport Cat X-Pipe is the only system we currently offer and is confirmed for the 4.3L. We are seeing what needs to be done to make this system work on both the 4.3L and the 4.7L I will update this thread with new information. Stay tuned!
The X-Pipe is not designed to be a power provider, it is designed to even out exhaust tones and to be used in conjunction with the sport cats.
UPDATE
After doing further research we have verified that our system will fit on both the 4.3L and the 4.7L V8 Vantage vehicles from 2005-2010, but will not fit the 2011+ V8 Vantage S.

Either the gains for the x-pipe are being underrated or the gains for the cats are being overestimated. You don't make 28 wheel HP just from cats alone. Hence why I asked if you could provide a dyno chart of just the X-pipe (as others have also asked about this as well.)

One of the primary reasons for our larger power gains vs. the competitors is that we (Fabspeed) use very high-flowing 200-cell HJS cat cores, which flow almost as well as our full Catbypass Pipes. I can't speak with any certainty, but our competitors may be using smaller or lower quality cat cores in the construction of their products. HJS cat cores are the best that money can buy, and for good reason.
Here is the graph of just the x-pipe installed on an otherwise stock 2007 V8 Vantage:

Compare that to the graph for the full package with the Sport Cats, and the difference is obvious. This is why we offer this product as a package, and not individually. Together, they offer the best combination of power and sound that is available for the Vantage!
It is tough to say what the true power gains would be provided without having one here on the dyno. There is absolutely room for power gains when replacing the factory cats with our 200-cell sport cats. Also, the 4.7 factory exhaust might be a little bit more free flowing providing better sound but again our 200-cell cats will really make a big improvement.
I'm confused - isn't a 2007 4.3L Vantage supposed to produce ~380HP stock? The graph above shows it maxing out at 320/353 without/with.
Is that in the range of normal engine variances, was this car just underpowered for some reason to start, or am I wrong in some other way? Hopefully someone more knowledgeable than me can explain.

Dyno chart shows rear wheel HP. 380hp is at the crank. The rest of the loss is driveline. (which can be anywhere around 15%. So the before # is spot on. it also varies for stick shift vs a genuine automatic gear box. Autos typ have a higher loss. AM sport shift tho... should measure like a stick given it has a clutch setup)
Different dynos makes can vary RWHP #s. But the same dyno will be consistent unto itself.
And to round out the info: Overall results will also depend on altitude, temp, humididty.... (on many drag strip web sites... you can check out what the DA 'density altitude' is for different days. I try to go when its a negative #... meaning really dense air. Very possible in FL. +1000 DA would be thinner air. Have yet to take the Aston... just doesn't seem right.)

It truly depends on the dealership. Technically, you are protected by an act called the "magnuson moss warranty act" which basically states that unless the product is proven to cause the issue then they cannot void your warranty.

I'd recommend putting up some sound clips to show the difference between having the X-pipe vs OEM pipes since it'll definitely be asked for as that's half the reason for the part.
