TPMS question
TPMS question
I'm looking at buying a set of OEM wheels but the seller isn't sure if the TPMS sensors were removed or not (tires still mounted). Is there a way to tell if they are inside, and if so can you just put the wheels on and they will communicate with the car? Wheels are from a 2010 Vantage, going to a 2007 Vantage. Thanks
Compare valve stems, maybe?
I think they might be noticeably different. But I've been sick as a dog the last week and I'm still high as Cheech on meds right now so I might be making this up.

UP until 2008 the Vantage had an independant TPMS--you will find the module under dash passenger side.
After this the system was integrated with the cars monitoring system.
SO-even if the transmitters are in the wheels they wont be compatible with the 2007 module.
