AC question

I am sure i read that the V8V uses a japanese sourced ac compressor and (assuming) ancillary electronics. Anyone know the manufacturer and what other cars it may be used on? Having a minor issue and hope to avoid a trip to an AM dealer.

Uses a Denso compressor, what's your minor issue? Any good a/c repair shop could replace the compressor with a same model. Aston Martin dealer should not be too outrageous for cost replacement and it gets resolved with a 1 year warranty.

Compressors shuts off intermittently. There is requisite refrigerant, (just checked) It acts like a low refrigerant safety switch is killing it. I believe at WOT the compressor is shut off? and think it is a switch or sensor as it sometimes occurs after high rpm acceleration.

Sounds like its short on refrigerant and locking out on the low pressure switch . Any automotive AC shop can check it you just need the equipment (gauges etc ) .
