Awesome Saturday Drive

Went on an awesome drive yesterday in the North Georgia mountains with a few local AM owners. Left from Atlanta around 9:30 AM, got up to the mountains around 10:30, and did about 90-120 mins of spirited driving before stopping for lunch with the crew. A few of us stopped for a wine tasting detour on the way back and were home by 5:30. All-in-all, a wonderful way to spend a Saturday.

This is the first "organized drive" I have done (and that I know of) with Aston owners in the Atlanta area and it was a blast. I really enjoyed meeting and getting to know some of the local owners and it was great seeing these cars beat up those mountain roads. Many brought a SO, so it was a nice, family friendly environment, and we even had someone join us from Charlotte.

Big props to the local dealer, Motorcars of Georgia, for putting together a top notch event and starting to build more of a community around the marque in the Atlanta area.

A few on here in the area have asked about events/ meetups, so if you are interested and want to join in on a future event, get in touch Carsen at Motorcars of GA. I know they are planning on doing more events in the coming months.

Finally, some beautiful pics my equally beautiful passenger took of the pack as we were weaving through the mountains. Enjoy!

haha... yeah, we were commenting as we were lining up to pull out about the how it looked like we had about every shade of grey represented. I think in the line-up we had a nero black, meteorite(x2), tungsten(x2), and titanium.

Should book-mark this for the future when someone asks about the differences in one gray vs another!
