Need to buy 4. Where is the best place to get other than the dealer ($1,000 for 4 at the dealer)

Not sure, but since SmarTire closed it's doors to passenger vehicles years ago, Aston had run out of the SmarTire sensors..since then Aston has teamed with Beru systems to make a replacement which is part#CG33-360671-AA..You could always contact Beru and see if they have other distributors other than Aston Martin

It's not the same as 2011 onwards unless the car comparing to was a V12 vantage which still carried the SmarTire system until it was changed to a complete Beru system for V12 Vantage S. All other 2011 onward models are the Beru system and those parts cannot be mixed with SmarTire systems.

What is the last 6 of your VIN?

That is the part number of the TPMS units my dealer installed just last week into my 2009 DB9 Volante. Dealer price was $272.30 each, plus about $200 in labor for programming the pair that were replaced.

In the future when my other 2 die I'll buy those parts and take care of the installation, then I only need the dealer to program.

A Google search of that part number turns up several sources with prices in the $200-225/each range (shipping extra).
