Hey guys,

Curious, can anyone tell me what model license plate light bulbs I have on my 2008 V8 Vantage? The manual says C5W, but I took a pic and they don't much look like C5W's to me at least. Anyway, if someone could pleaseclue me in that would be wonderful. :-)

W5W, same as side markers or interior bulb.

 

are you considering going LED for the license plate lights? i wanted to change my bulbs out to non error LED.

 

Hey yeah I bought a set of 6000k Osram LEDriving W5W bulbs. I'll let you know if they are too bright or give me any errors.

thank you. not too worried about brightness, just worried about error messages, and worried about install since to reach the bulbs, there's a pretty big distance between body and bulb housing.

6k sounds very bright?

I was wondering this morning. all bulbs in the Vantage are LED except license plate is yellowish.

EDIT: I just ordered a set to test and will post pictures.

My bulbs showed up today.

EDIT: When you figure it out it goes under 5 seconds.. Press lamp against the clip and it comes right out
